DEPARTURE FROM THE REPUBLICAN PARTY
- On the evening of April 21st, 2017, Alex Jones defected to the Libertarian Party after his GUAC/HUAC team was disbanded. Jones said his final 'fuck yous' to leadership and left the GOP Discord server. He was angry with getting his power taken away from the GOP leadership and decided to leave the party for good. Two Days later he left the Libertarian party due to disagreements with its core ideology and within two weeks was reinstated to the GOP.
RETURN TO GOP AND GOP RENAISSANCE
- Shortly after his return to Pizo's Revamped GOP, Alex Jones became extremely active to make up for his past transgressions. In the following weeks after his return he made huge inroads with the party including negotiating a brief though highly fruitful deal with the Libertarian Party that saw the GOP return to a Senate Plurality.
